[REVIEW] GNC Total Lean CLA
Sunday, December 6, 2015 | 10:57 PM | 0 hearts♥
Today's review is on GNC Total Lean CLA supplement!

This bottle contains 90 soft gel capsules and should last approximately 45 days if you take 2 per day!

Directions: Two softgel capsules, twice daily.

I've read lots of reviews before purchasing and most people mentioned about the size of the capsules. Certainly when I opened up the bottle, the capsules looked fine but when I tried to swallow it, I did find it slightly hard to swallow. Just drink lots of water to get it down!

It looked clear. Reminds me of fish oils.

Comparison of capsule against a 5 cent coin. Hope it helps!

-
Day 1 [29/10/2015]: My first try. I ate this after my lunch and I noticed that I'm super thirsty after consuming 1 gel capsule. I drank two large cups of plain water and yet still feeling thirsty.
After about 4 hours, I ate another capsule and waited for about 30mins before I start my 30mins+ of zumba workout. Feels okay, I didn't feel anything abnormal.

Day 2: Ate one after my breakfast. Felt energized but not long after, I had a headache. Not sure if this is due to the capsules. Will monitor.

Day 3: Having headache, thus decided to skip for today.

Day 4: Continued eating 2 pills per day. 1 for breakfast and 1 for lunch or dinner. No other effects felt.

Day 6 onwards: 2 pills after lunch and 2 pills after dinner.
...
7/12/2015 Update: I'm currently finishing up the CLA soon (~5 capsules left!) and I found myself losing about 2kg?

Not sure if it's the CLA but I've repurchased another bottle to try! Hopefully I'll lose more!
Throughout the course, occasionally I'll feel a bit lethargic after consuming the pills and these pills seems to boost my digestive system... (laughs)
Just remember to drink lots of water and to exercise regularly! Let's work towards a healthier life together! :)

I plan to purchase GNC Total Lean Burn soon... :)

[Review] DHC Vitamin B Mix
Friday, October 30, 2015 | 2:17 AM | 0 hearts♥
Today, I'll be doing a review on DHC Vitamin B Mix!

Initially I bought this just to get energy boost since I'm quite reliant on caffeine on days which I have lectures!

This is how it looks like inside!

One thing to note is that the tablets smells weird. Not sure how to describe it, but the closest smell that I could relate this would be egg yolks?

So far I'm not really following the recommended dosage of 2 tablets per day as I found that after consuming one tablet, you'll realised that the colour of your urine would be bright yellow-ish colour. I've did some googling and found that this is perfectly normal due to the excess riboflavin or vitamin B2. Try to drink more water to dilute the colour if it bothers you! :)

Vitamin B has got lots of benefits to it if taken correctly. Benefits such as increase in growth of hair/nails and increase of metabolism.

I'm still taking 1 tablet occasionally so I may not see the cosmetic effect. However, I do feel that I sweat more when I consume this before exercising - this probably meant by the 'energy' that the tablets would give you.

Would I buy this again? - Maybe not because I would like to try out other items. But price wise, this is quite a deal as I got it for S$13~S$15 for a packet of 180 tablets.

:)

[Review] AFC Diet Supplement
| 2:17 AM | 0 hearts♥
Today's review will be on AFC Diet Supplement (or also known as AFC500シリーズダイエットサプリ).

This is a product from Japan and I had a hard time searching for reviews. Since it's affordable, I've decided to give it a try. (with hopes that Japanese products will work for me! :3 )

In case you're wondering, I purchased this from Here.

Compared to other supplements I've seen, this supplement is for a supply for 22 days instead of the usual 15 or 30 days.

This product claims to limit the fats in our body with Chitosan, suppresses appetite and cravings with Gymnena and Garcinia Camborgia.

These three ingredients are commonly seen in diet supplements. However, it is important to note that there are no scientific researches to prove that these actually aids in weight loss.

Product info for anyone who can read Japanese^

Directions: Consume two pills 15 mins before a meal. For me, I ate 2 pills before my lunch and 2 pills before dinner.  1 Packet consists of 90 pills so it's enough for 22 days if you consumed 2 pills for lunch and dinner.

The pills are small in size and are easy to swallow.
The resealable packaging is a plus point too :)

I've tried consuming these pills consistently for about three weeks now...  One more week before I finishes this.

I have yet to see any weight loss effect coupled with occasional exercise. However, I do notice a decrease for food cravings and I would feel full after a smaller meal. One good thing about this would be that I did not experience increase in heartbeats (phew!) or any other symptoms such as dizziness.

Will I buy again?
Not sure if I would give another packet a try. Perhaps 22 days is too short for me to conclude if the pills really work.

Given the Japanese reviews on amazon jp (and with the help of google translate), it seems that the pills were not really effective.

These pills works differently for each individuals so I may consider trying it for another 22 days given the affordable price.

Well, I've a few more supplements (fish oil and vitamin B...) to complete first before considering if I would give this another go.

Till then~

[REVIEW] VEGGIE APPLI ENZYME GREEN JUICE
Saturday, October 24, 2015 | 2:45 AM | 0 hearts♥
Hello people! Thanks for reading my blog post! Today I'm gonna review...
ENZYME GREEN JUICE!

I've gotten them from Qoo10 at a discount. I've been wanting to try it for a long time!!

From the website, this juice have detox effects with 66 vegetable enzymes, promoting bowel movements, containing probiotics for digestions, and aids in weight loss.

How it looks inside:

I really liked how I can reseal the package back after opening!

One packet contains 10 sachets of 3g.

On my first attempt, I added milk and I had trouble dissolving all of the powder in the cup and end up having lumps of greenish stuff floating on the cup... (I didn't take any photo because it looked kinda.... xD)

Taste wise still good, and on my second attempt...
(Note: do not use hot water as it may destroy the enzymes in the powder!)
I added a small amount of water to dissolve the powder first before adding milk in and this is what I've got!:

A tasty cup of green milk! It tastes great with milk!
Personally, I feel that mixing with plain water tastes more veggie-ish. So, for people who don't really like it being veggie-ish, you can try mixing it with milk or soybean drink! :)

Now, what about it's detoxifying effects?
When I first start drinking this, I had a smooth bowel movement everyday. (Note that I only drink it after my dinner)
Once, I ate a full 10 course meal (Celebratory dinner) and drank this juice afterwards.
The next morning, I had a terrible stomachache and stuck in the toilet for a long time. I guess it could be due to the oily food that I ate during dinner... =.= It really worked huh... xD

But! Not to worry! Other than that occasion where I ate Roasted Pork Meat and 9 other dishes, the drink works really well for me and I had smooth bowel every morning! ^.^

Weight loss wise, I did not see any apparent weight loss after drinking 20 over sachets... I don't think this green juice alone would make one lose weight though. This green juice aids in the digestive system and in the long run, may cause weight loss but in my opinion, the weight loss would be minimal.

Will I buy this again?
In fact, I've purchased another 7 packets (70 sachets) that would last me for another 1.5 months....
I'm not sure if I would continue this after completing it! Well, I would if I have extra money for it as it can be quite expensive over the long run. ;)

Thanks for reading!

Tata~
